PIP - which nursery do you like?

We're having a boy, and I can't decide between white furniture or espresso. The room gets a lot of natural light, so it wouldn't be dark with the dark furniture. I'm also not 100% sure about the bedding although I'm leaning towards something with greens and yellows. What do you think?

Also, the chair and ottoman really do match in real life. Not sure whey the photos are different colors.

I always associate white furniture with girls, so I'd go with the darker set.

I like the espresso best....darker will probably be better for a boy too.  I really like your nursery collection...so cute!

great color scheme.  nice choices!  they both look great.  the dark wood looks 'richer', while the white furniture looks 'fresher'...so which 'feel' do you want?

I think the white furniture looks better with the bedding you have pictured, but I do agree that I tend to think of white furniture as being for a girl.

I like the Espresso also.  I've always had a thing for darker furniture. And I too seem to have always associated white furniture with a girl nursery. lol

I agree -- I associate white with girl nurseries, too. But I have seen some incredible boy nurseries with white furniture. I'm leaning towards the darker furniture. Thanks so much for your input!

I personally prefer the look of darker furniture, however it also hides stains and smudges better than white which, since it's a child's room, is a plus.

I usually prefer white, but I like how the espresso looks with everything else. :-)

I am always partial to darker furniture.  In this case I think it really makes all the other colors pop.

I like the white best, but would probably go dark furniture for a boy. Love the very modern look of it.

I like the white better, but think dark is more manly (boyly?). I like the nursery overall, nice choices.
