Fun day at the OB

So I get there and I'm waiting in the room. The nurse comes in and says she has to evacuate me. Evacuate? Who evacuates from a doctor's office? There's a smell in the building and once we get in the hallway I can smell it. Not a fire smell. More of a broken belt, rubbery smell. OK, fine. I'm not allowed in the elevator so they have a nurse escort me down the steps and outside. The police and fire department all show up. We're standing out side just watching. Ummm, could you please hurry up before I deliver my kids in the parking lot? They finally let us back inside but the fire department says they can't see patients until the building manager comes to investigate. My husband who's a fire fighter in a different town is on the phone with me. He's been listening on the radio. He says that there's nothing wrong and I should be allowed to stay but out I get booted again. I have to come back tomorrow.   At least it was all very entertaining.

Wow - that is quite entertaining! At least all is well and you get to go right back tomorrow. Hopefully it will be less eventful!
