to clip your fingernails at work? The guy in the cubicle behind me is clipping his nails and the sound is making my skin crawl. I just imagine pieces of fingernail flying all over the place when he clips them...ewwwww.

Pretty sure that is an activity that needs to be done either at home or at a nail salon.  Some people are just so nasty!!!  Sorry you have to deal with that.

My boss (the business owner) does that and it makes me nauseous. Unfortunately he's my boss AND family (his wife is DH's sister) so I have to deal with it.

Yeah, there was a guy at my work that used to do this and I agree, for some reason it really creeped me out.

I think he did it last week too....it was hectic here last week so I guess I wasn't as bothered, but today it really got on my nerves.

ok, maybe if you had a hang nail you were worried was going to rip any minute and cause pain, then I would understand clipping that one.

 

But clipping all your nails just because? Hell no0.

No!  I used to sit next to a lady that clipped her nails all the time.  It drove me crazy and grossed me out.

I keep a nail file in my desk drawer and use it quite often to file a chipped nail or whatever... but something does seem weird about clipping your nails at work!

I have a cowoker that does that too and it drives me insane.

It is NOT ok.

For some reason nail filing is different and not annoying to me but nail clipping is.

I went to see a play at my local library and there was a dude sitting on the front steps clipping his toenails.  It was DISGUSTING, I almost threw up.
