How did you put up Alphabet Flash Cards?

Did you frame (if so where did you find a good deal on alike frames)? Or did  you put up a different way?

 thanks!

Oh, here are my cards...so cute!  https://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51LvB0rbrKL._AA400_.jpg

Re: How did you put up Alphabet Flash Cards?

  • Those are really cute flashcards!

There's a really great example of one in the BabyBio, where someone hung up Alphabet flash cards with string and old-fashioned clothespins, I think. At Target, I saw a "photo" mobile with clips, so you can hang anything from the clips.

  • I don't have a pic, but for my DD play room i just put them in two rows along one wall (not very exciting!). What i really wanted to do but got lazy was to figure out what the spacing b/w each card would be if i was to hang them abotu 3/4 up the wall and go all around all 4 walls of the room-kinda like a wallpaper border or something. I didn't use frames and wouldn't have if i did the second way i described either. I think w/ the entire alphabet it wouldn't look good.

Also, my SIL just took alphabet cards that spelled her DD's name and did that on the wall, rather than the whole alphabet.

  • I haven't put any up but I remember when I was hanging up posters in my room when I was younger that there is this putty like stuff. It doesn't hurt the walls or paper and you can't see it. A little bit went a long ways and they never fell down.

  • We used thick yarn and old fashioned clothes pins, modeled after this idea:

  • Our nursery has a shelf that lines 2 of the walls, about 1 1/2 feet down from the ceiling, it has molding underneath it so it looks pretty. My alphabet cards are 8x10 and I got these little stick on things from Michaels that helps them stand up (I could've leaned them against the wall but a little kid wouldn't be able to see them then, I wanted them closer to the front of the shelf). They fit perfectly to fill up both walls. Sorry I don't have a pic.
