Why EWCM so early in cycle?

I just checked my last cycle chart and noticed last cycle and this one I tend to get a patch of EWCM early into my cycle. Why?
I wiped and saw it on the toilet paper (a decent amount, too), but when I did an internal, I only had creamy CM. Does my body just ramp up a bit early?

    I wouldn't say that's particularly early.  Check out my charts.  I get it that early too a lot of the time.

    Okay, great! If you say so Gymnst, then it is true! Thanks! Should I be attacking DH at this point? We've been like ships passing in the night this week. This weekend that is going to be another story!!

    Haha - not always!  If I were you, I would attack him :)  Are you using OPKs?  That can help you pinpoint better so you can better time sex.

    I haven't started on them this cycle yet. I guess I'll take one in a bit to see. I hadn't even thought of doing one this early. Duh!

    Sometimes when I have a lot of creamy CM, it looks like EWCM on the toilet paper.
