Need pics of a DS hairstyle...

Any cute sigs with great toddler boy cuts?  DS has fine, long hair.  Upon the advice from some mom's in the playgroup, I just trimmed his hair myself.  Big mistake.  I will never do that again.  I cut the front too short and he looks kind of dorky.  I did this two weeks ago.

So today I want to take him to get it cut but I don't think I want them to fix it...I think I want them to give him a different hair style.  But I'm worried since is hair is thin and fine about giving him a little spike.  Will it stay?

Any pics? recommendations?  I have been looking online but need help.
