I teach dance so am having a LOT of trouble thinking of a girl name that is someone I haven't taught before!  We have one name we both like (Kate), but I'm still not quite stuck on it yet.  Found the name Briley in our baby book - what do you think of it?  Just want to bounce it off others besides DH (who is on the fence about it too).  Thanks in advance Ladies!!!

It's a parkway in Nashville, and sounds like a made-up blend of Riley and all the trendy "Br" names IMHO.

That's what I was worried about - that by adding a B onto Riley it looks like I made it up and am trying to be original lol.

That sucks it's a parkway in Nashville... my name is Brooke (I get Brooklynn allllll the time).... may as well name her Broadway - LOL!

Briley is a great name for a baby or a 3 y.o., even a 15 year old cheerleader but I can't see Dr. Briley, Astronaut Briley.  I think Kate or Katherine is a more classic name that can go through life better.

I think it's a "cutesie" name that automatically makes me think of Miley. And that's never a good thing. Not a fan. Love Kate though.
