So I'm in love with Etta, but I'm trying to think of some other names... DH likes Etta but isn't completely sold. What do you think about:

Ellerie

Emelyn

Her middle name is going to be Elaine, after my mom and myself. I'm kind of on this E kick...

I like Etta, as for the rest, Emelyn, Edeline & Edelyn sound and look made up to me.  Ellerie is ok, NMS and I prefer the Ellory spelling.

I like Etta better than the others on your list.  The ones that end in -ine and -yn seem a bit similar to Elaine as well.

I think Ellerie is pretty. I know a girl with that name and she goes by Elle. My favorite E name is Elizabeth.

Etta is NMS.  Edeline and Edelyn sound made up.  Ellery is OK, Emelyn is the best of your choices, IMHO.  However, don't care for any of those names with Elaine as the MN.

Honestly, I don't like any of the names on your list... and I would avoid anything that starts with "El" if you're set on Elaine for her MN, the repetion sounds bad IMO. What about Emilia, Eva, Estelle, Esther?
