RP from 3rd tri - scheduled c/s question

How far along were you when you doctor scheduled your c/s date.  I know my dr is going to schedule one, and I have an appointment on Thursday and will ask her then, but I just wanted to see when you ladies had yours scheduled.

They told me to schedule mine after my 36w appt.  That way at least the day was reserved if I needed it.  It's a good thing I called when I did because the day I hit 38w was Memorial Day, so no surgeries.  The next day was totally booked, and there was only 1 spot open on the following day!  I was starting to think I'd be 39w and still not delivered!

I just scheduled mine. Our twins are due around Christmas so we had to reserve a date early. Our c/s will be at 37 weeks 1 day.

At my 34 week appt.

They are going to have me deliver around 36 or 37 weeks (so sometime the first week of February) and I was told to schedule it right after the New Year.

When I hit 38 weeks, my ob scheduled it for the end of the week.

I went in for my 36wk appt and he scheduled it for the next week.

My doc wanted to deliver my twins at 38 weeks.  Their due date was 12/30 - so 38 weeks was 12/16.

My office will normally schedule 30 days before, but I actually talked them into scheduling it in the beginning of October for the simple fact of it being around the holidays.

The doc agreed and said that we should get it schedule early and I got 830 am.
