How long did your 20-week ultrasound take for twins, and what all did they do?

it was about 2hours- and got REALLY boring at some points when they are measuring organs and you have no idea what is on the screen... DH almost fell asleep b/c the room is dark

they do tons of measurments - and will confirm sex if you want. We also got some great pics of them printed out - some in 3D, too.

I knew we would find out the genders, but I didn't even think about the fact that we'll get new (and maybe better) pictures!  Now I'm excited!  Thanks!!!!

My anatomy scans are usually an hour long.  Maybe 45 minutes, even.  But mine might be shorter because I get them more frequently.

took about 2 hours. it is such a neat experience.

Wow does it really take that long? I have 2 in one week, one with my regular OB and one with my MFM.  I will be sure to block off the afternoons.

My u/s never lasted that long.  I think the longest I was ever being scanned was maybe 30 mins.  I saw my peri every 2 weeks so maybe they always got what they needed or maybe my babies were super cooperative.

At my docs office, they schedule 30 minutes per baby and never seem to need more than that.

Just had mine on Monday and it was almost 3 hours long.
