Rocker?

I am wanting to buy a white, slipcovered, rocking armchair and ottoman for DS's nursery that will eventually transition to being used somewhere else in the house.  I don't mind spending a little more on it since we would like to put it in the family room or somewhere later on, but I am having trouble finding places to look.  DH and I are both tall so I would ideally like one with a higher back (would like to be able to at least lean my head back during feedings, etc) but all the ones at baby/kid stores are really short.  I saw one at Land of Nod online that looked promising but we don't have a store in Texas and DH and I would really like to sit in it before buying.  Any suggestions?  TIA.

we had the same problem, i did not want to buy one without sitting in it first. we ended up getting a Little Castle brand chair. If you check out their website, there's a number to call to find a retailer nearby. Tons of styles and fabrics to choose, we're definitely excited for ours!

we just ordered the one from wal-mart that the previous poster linked to. it was only about 180 for the rocker frame and then you order a slipcover to go on it. they have a bunch of different colors which is nice. we ordered the beige microfiber one and it's very light, almost cream colored. there's also an ottoman frame you can order but its out of stock right now and you can get a matching slipcover for it. the rocker frame is 180, slipcover is 60, ottoman frame is 60 and ottoman slipcover is 20, so total is about 320 and free shipping from site to store. the rocker is not the most comfortable, but the price is great and if you put a pillow on it, its better. also i'm about 5'5 and i can lean my head back on it. probably not my husband though. i guess what i'm saying is, that for the price it looks like a pottery barn rocker, so for us it's worth it plus you can wash the slipcover if it gets dirty and order another color if you have another baby.
