I'm a bit afraid to ask, but what do y'all think of the name Soren Lee? I think I'm pretty much certain that's the name I'll go with for a boy, but curious as to other's thoughts/ opinions.
I really like that name, it is one of those names DH would hate so I would never get to use it. But, I really like it!

My only reservation might be that it sounds very gender ambiguous. This may appeal to you or not, but I would just as easily assume Soren Lee was a girl

This. I would think girl. I like Warren better (not that you asked).
I don't care for Soren, personally. ?I know a little boy with that name and just have never been a fan of it. ?And it does sort of run together with Lee.
Lee....well, it's my son's middle name...but it wasn't my choosing. ?It's DH and FIL's middle name, so I didn't have a choice. ?It's grown on me.?

Very Scandinavian, which I like I have known 2 Sorens and both were named Soren Sorenson, LOL. DH and I lived in Denmark for a while, so I love Scandinavian names

I love Soren. Lee isn't bad, but if it were me, I'd probably pair it with a more masculine mn. But then again, how often does a mn actually get used, right? Is Lee a family name or have some other significance?

Lee is my mother-in-law's middle name.. I'm having a difficult with the middle name.. I want to use a family name, and thought that was the best out of the bunch. Other family names include: Anthony, Allen, Dean, Robert..
I like it! We really struggled to find a boy's Indian name that we liked for #2 and considered Sauren (which we may have spelled Soren just to make it easier on people).
I think it's a good, strong name...and not overdone!
Love Soren, Lee is just ok, but I understand the importance of a family name.

Re: Boys Name: Soren Lee.. What do you think?
I personally don't like the name Lee.. but that's just me.
I think they sound fine together.
I think Soren is a cool name (although it automatically made me think of Lord of the Rings)
I dislike it with Lee, the Lee sounds like ly in this case as if they were one word
Proud mama to a boys- 6/17/09 - a girl 2/23/11- and a boy 8/20/12
Yippeeeeee! I love the name Soren!!
Not sure I'd use Lee as a mn, but it doesn't sound bad
I really like it!

Love Soren. It was on our short list. It's a popular name in Denmark. (to pp: It sounds like the first part of the last name Sorenson)
I don't like it with Lee, though. It sounds like an adverb to me: sorenly.

I like Soren Dean the best of those choices.
Soren Allen could work with the right last name.
