activity level of twins

I was wondering if you notice 1 baby is more active than the other while being pregnant.  I always feel one baby move more than the other.  Their heartbeats tend to be about the same.  Just curious :-)

Re: activity level of twins

  • Yes, my Baby B is much more active!  Although, Baby A surprised me yesterday and had a very active day : )

  • yup...baby a stayed nestled as far down as possible and hardly moved my whole pregnancy....baby b was crazy and always all over the place...it kind of fits their personalities now!
  • Two weeks ago, it was Baby A who was more active.  Now, Baby B just won't quit.  So I guess it goes back and forth.  :)

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

I don't feel them a whole lot yet (which I'm assuming is due to having two anterior placentas), but at every u/s Baby A has been head down and really far down, while Baby B has flipped up and down. Hmm...

  • yup- one of mine was always more active in utero... they are about the same now- but in my belly i worried a lot about Baby A b/c i didn't feel him as much- probably b/c he was 2lbs smaller and wedged down further.
  • Baby A was always more active in utero and I rarely felt Baby B.  I was always so worried about not feeling him.  They have kept those same personalities - as a baby, A doesn't stop moving and B is very chill.

  • It may have to do with positioning.  My baby A was always very low and never had much room to move.  My baby B had a lot more space so he was always flipping and wiggling.

  • YES! My girl was way more active, and my boy so calm. They are 3 months old now and exactly the same : )
  • I have always felt my baby A move more, but my baby b shifts postions more.
  • Yes, Rabbit was a trillion times more active than Noodle, hence the nicknames :)
