Hi, My DS was also born in February. He eats 3 meals a day and takes three 8 oz bottles. Sometimes he may have a 4th bottle but that just depends.
I am starting to try all kinds of things and I just posted something about this the other day. I bought puffs, cheerios, banana, bread, pasta. My friend gave her son (the same age) meatballs broken up. He loved it. I tried mac and cheese this weekend. it was probably too dry for him as he did gag and threw it up. I gave him soft parts of pizza. that's all I have at this point!
J is almost 9 months and he's doing 3 meals/day with 4 bottles that are 6-8 oz. He's doing bread, cheerios, puffs and cheese. I usually try to put a little bit of whatever we are having on his tray. So far he does not like any of the mushier fruits - bananas, peaches, etc., and is hit/miss on pasta.?

I also have a 9 month old boy and he seems to be on par with what pp have said. Three meals a day and four 6 oz bottles.
As long as it's not "unhealthy" food, I try to give him a little bit of whatever we're having. Pasta, small pieces of chicken or beef, veggies, fruit. He has stuff like cheerios, yogurt, bread for breakfast.
DS started solids at 6 months, added a second meal at about 8 months, and was consistently on 3 meals by 9.5 months.
DD, on the other hand, started solids at 6 months and was on 100% table food by 8.5 months. Girlfriend loves her food. She ate smoky meat sticks at 8.5 months, if that tells you anything.
I nursed both on demand, so no help with bottles.
