DD is Arianna and she just turned 5. We pronounce Ar-ee-ahna. We started calling her Ari but she recently decided she wants to be called Anna (pronounced ah-na) as a nickname, so we do.
We do get people who say Air-e-ahna, but we have learned not to let it bother us.

Re: Ariana for a girl??? Like it???
I like it, but there are a couple different ways to pronounce and I think it would bother me too much if people didn't say it correctly. ?
Are-e-anna
Air-ee-anna
?
Arianna (w/ 2 n's) is in our top two, I love it!! My only drawback is that it seems like "Ari" is a natural nickname, and I'm not crazy about that.
Good luck to you!
