Poll - Please take a look at these boy names!

We have narrowed the first name of our son to either Riley or Colby. We just have to choose a combo with the three possible middle names. Joseph, Trenton or Allen (family names on DH's side). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

Also if you have any inspiration on any other first names to go with your favorite middle name, please feel free to leave you thoughts.

for me, naming a boy Riley wouldn't be a good option.  I know far too many girls with that name.  (Plus, I like Colby better).

IMO Colby Allen flows the best.

I chose Riley Joseph.

Colby Allen would be my 2nd choice.

Not crazy about either of them, to be honest.  But Colby is especially wrong because it's a cheese, IMHO.

This is how I feel about Colby too!

I love Riley.  It is a great unisex name.  I have a boy cousin name Riley.  It works.  Also, I love that you have very masculine mn choices.  I voted for Riley Joseph, but Riley Allen is okay too.  I am from NJ, so Trenton as a name doesn't work for me.  Trenton is not a nice city.  GL!!!!

Thanks for all the input ladies.....this is our first baby and I never realized how crazy making picking a name would be 

This whole time my hubby has had a "whatever" attitude toward the first name as long as the middle name was one of the three choices above.  Well now he wants Colby which I like, but I like Riley better which he is ambivelent toward....I suggested keeping the name search going but the only name he really likes is Colby.  Any suggestions on similar names?

I really like Riley for either a boy or a girl, but just keep in mind that it is WAY more popular for girls these days and will probably keep heading in that direction. It may end up being along the lines of the name Kelly or Casey.

In the last year I know 2 people who have had daughters and named them Riley.....I think you'll find it's a more common girls name right now

Colton? Cole?

I do like Colby, though.

Not a fan of either first name, but I love the middle name Joseph. I vote for Riley Joseph.
