Any advice would be great...How long does this process take? Does it have to be cow's milk, is that the best thing? Something doesn't seem right about giving him so much dairy all of a sudden... I just want to give him the healthiest thing. We are thinking about starting to try for another baby soon and I still haven't gotten a period so that's why I'm starting the weaning process.
Re: So how do you wean a solely bf, almost 12 month old?
They aren't supposed to get whole milk until one year. I think if you wean before then you switch to formula and then at a year you can switch to whole milk. You might be able to give some whole milk now - I'd suggest talking to your pedi.
