Anyone have thyroid issues or dizziness??

The last few days out of nowhere at different parts of the day I will get so neasous and dizzy----I have no idea what is going on.  What is scaring me is I have mitral valve prolapse (pretty much skipped heartbeats) and I can really feel it now--and I can feel it skipping more.....not sure if I'm having blood pressure issues, thyroid issues (no history of issues) or even the start of diabetes or something.

I eat fairly well (although have hit the sugar pretty hard lately)---no other health issues.  I'm wondering if it's my hormones getting back to normal since my milk is starting to decrease (down to just one pump a day now and it's getting low)....

Would love to hear experiences.  What is worse is I have no family doctor--in the process of finding a new one---nothing like looking like a hypochondriac when I go in LOL!!!

  • Might be an iron issue?  I have low iron and get dizzy a lot.

  • I get nauseous and dizzy on a daily basis. I have no clue why. My ob/gyn told me to keep something like a lifesaver with me so I don't end up passing out. I've had my thyroid checked and it's in the normal range. We just recently bought a blood pressure machine so we can keep track.

  • I have hypothyroidism (one of the many "gifts" given to me postpartum), and I sometimes get very dizzy and nauseous, mostly in the morning. Sometimes, driving to work I feel very lightheaded. To tell u the truth, i have no idea why i get like that or if it is even related to the hypothyroidism. I've had my bloodwork checked for diabetes, my bp is normal, and i do not have any cardiac issues. I hope you find an md asap to get ur bloodwork checked and have your mvp evaluatated.
  • I have postpartum hypothyroidism, high blood pressure, and am severely deficient in Vitamin D and iron. I have nausea, headaches, dizziness, and migraines daily.
