I also used to be 34C and perky, but I actually love my boobies now. I've always been the small chested friend, so it's kind of nice to have some more "umph" to them now. DH absolutely loves them, too..and I think he wishes they would always be this big, but he would never admit it to me.
While I sympathize with you (and I am genuinely happy for you that you can still go to the store and find your size), I have to say that you don't have it that bad- my boobs are now a 34G [holy freaking crap]!!!
So what size did I just order for a nursing bra (and yes, I had to order one online since I can't find my size in any store)?
I'm expecting a LO, I can't dish out 60 bucks on a bra! And of course, the DD's are like 10-15 bucks more than C and D cups. Annoying!
Where are you shopping? I was a 40D pre-pregnancy, and quickly went from D to DD to now an F. And I pay the same no matter the cup size. Have you tried Lane Bryant, they have online shopping if there isn't one around you. That's where I get mine and they are around 35 bucks.
DD 12/1/2009
TTC#2 Since May 2012
Dx PCOS February 2013 on Metformin 1500 mg
Met with RE October 2013, we've got a plan!
Surprise BFP on "break cycle" 10/12/13. EDD 6/17/14.
MMC discovered 11/25/13 at 10 weeks. D&C 11/27/13.
Motherhood maternity also has a lot of bra sizes and don't charge more for them. I went from a 34D to a 38F ... be prepared for them to get even bigger once your milk comes in
If you aren't planning on breastfeeding and talking about buying some regular bras, try Fredricks of Hollywood. They are fairly inexpensive, they carry 40DD size and their bras actually hold up better than others like Victorias Secret. I've always worn VS, and I found that I kept buying bras so much because they would fall apart in the wash, stretch out and discolor so easily. I got some bras from Fredricks, they were so comfy and held up extremely well and they were very inexpensive since I got them on sale. Go on their site and check them out.
hahaha. I started out at a DD. I don't even want to know where I'm at now. Sports bras are my newest friends because I'm sick of searching for bras with cup sizes in the middle of the alphabet.

I haven't had nice boobs since I was probably in middle school. It's still depressing sometimes but I plan on getting them cut back down to a "decent" size and put back up where they belong after we are all done having kids.

I might be able to make you feel a little better.
I was a 34G PREpreg... I am now measuring at36i!?! (Well that was a month ago... who knows what I'm measuring now ) I can't even find nursing bras that size... I'm making due with sports bras at the moment (which I might add are still too small) I'm afraid to buy anything now, knowing that they will get even bigger when the milk comes in!!!
I just hope that I can see Little Miss enough to actually BF her... I don't want to smother her on account of not being able to see her!! haha
I feel your pain. I was a cute 34c, now I'm a 40D, and I will most likely be a 40DD when my milk comes in. I hate the bras in the 40 band size- the middle part btw the breasts comes up so high and it's it's so irritating. They just cut right into my sternum.

Sorry no pity from me. I've been a 38DD since high school. Now im a 40DDD, who knows what will happen after the milk comes in.
Try target though. I bought a really comfy nursing bra a couple months ago in a size 40DD and it was $15. I've never noticed the DD bras to be more expensive.
