Ugg itchy Legs!! :(

My calves won't stop itching!!! I think it's because my legs are so swollen that the skin is so tight but seriously I can't stop! I feel like a little kid with chicken pox. Waiting for DH to come in any minute and yell at me for itching.

Any ideas of good lotion to use? I've been slathering with BBW body butter etc. I'm thinking I need to get something with no fragrance just in case that is making it worse? Is there some sort of "allergy" lotion I can use....Miserable....Crying

Re: Ugg itchy Legs!! :(

  • I don't have a lotion to recommend, but I would say that if you're not already doing so, you should really elevate your legs. My doc said to elevate your feet about your heart to increase blood flow. . Anyway, I really hope you find some relief soon. Smile

  • Sarna anti-itch lotion helps a little bit for PUPPP, and may help for other itching as well.  It makes the skin feel very cool and that offers some relief.

Calamine lotion is always good for itchiness, but it dries the skin out so don't use too much.

Eucerin Calming Creme lotion helps me a bit with PUPPP, too, but is really just an oatmeal lotion for any dry, irritated skin.

Hope this helps! Itching is the WORST.

  • OMG you are my HERO!!! I have never heard of PUPPPS or if i read about it early on ignored it. That is totally what it is because I itch on my stomach, thighs and arms too. (Just my calves i'm whining about now!) Thanks so much. Now at least I don't think I'm crazy and have something to google and ask doctor about. Thanks so much. I love the nest/bump. Great answers anytime of day ha ha.
