snoring a problem?

does snoring signal a problem?  DD snores really bad and I've also noticed she breathes out of her mouth a reasonable amount while she's awake.  She doesn't have a cold.

    Are her tonsils swollen? Could be an adnoid thing too or even just sinus issues.

    her tonsils look huge but I don't know if they're always like that or not.  She has had a cough for the last few weeks but only seems to be at night and is otherwise showing no cold symptoms.
