sleeping arrangements for triplets

As i mentioned a few weeks ago DH had a job interview and we have decided not to take the offer, so we will not be moving cross county.  I have to say i am secretly so glad that i can start "nesting" here and making arrangements now while i am stil abel to get around.

I am trying to figure out details for the nursey.  Our master bedroom is downstairs and all other bedrooms are upstairs.  When DD was baorn she stayed in our room in her PNP for about 6 weeks.

What were your sleeping arrangemtns (all in one crib or each in a seperate)?

Do they share a room/will they share a room when they are older?

Sorry to bug you ladies so much, i feel like i am finally letting myself get excitied about this pregnancy and let some of the worry go. :) So now i want to plan, plan, plan :) Thanks again!

Re: sleeping arrangements for triplets

  • the boys slept in their room from day one. they shared a crib for the first three or so months, though.

our bedroom was right across the hall from theirs, which was handy. i think if they were on different floors, i might think about putting one crib in your bedroom if there's room.

  • We started out with all three sharing a room together. They also shared a crib for the first two or three months. We then moved DS to his own crib and let the girls continue to share for another month or two. By six or seven months we moved the girls into their own room and ds into his. This really help with getting them to sleep through the night.
  • Ours also slept in their room in the cribs from day one. We started with all three in one crib and then moved our most active guy to his own after about 2 months. Then, all three in their own cribs at 6 months.

They are all still sharing a room.

  • this is very helpful to know! and I'm glad we have a one-floor house!

  • Our girls have always slept in their own room. They were in a crib together for the first 4-5 months until the first was rolling over onto her sister. They are now in their own cribs in the same room. Our room is right next to theirs and a great added bit of comfort for me was/is the Summer Infant Monitor that has the video. I love being able to see them. :)  Best of luck!
