Hi Ladies,
I was considering having our wedding photographer come out to the house once our little guy gets here so we can use one of the pics for a baby announcement. Did anyone use the Bella Baby Photography that Beaumont is offering now? Do you remember the pricing for it? I have seen them advertised and looked on their website but I can't find pricing for them anywhere.
Thanks!
Jenny
Re: Beaumont Newborn Photography
They come to the room and will take pictures for free. Than they try and sell it to you. I of course said no way at first but once I got home and the hormones kicked it I couldn't resist buying the full rights. I think she took around 25 pictures and the disc was 125 plus 7 for shipping. So 132.
To get individual pictures it was pretty expensive.
We are still having a photographer come to the house and take pictures and hopefully will get more than 25. I feel bad for spending the money now but really it was her second day of life and I felt bad not getting them.
That still bums me out that they switched photographers. The artistic looking pictures are nice, but I persoanlly like the traditional hospital picture. I dunno, but I think it's kind of neat that DH and I still have our hospital baby picture and now we have a similar one of DS. It's a bummer that whenever we have another baby, he or she likely won't have a similar picture.
We had an appointment already set up at Robert Bruce Photography, but the pictures at the hospital turned out so amazing that we spend about $300 on grandparent photos, birth announcement photos and adorable thank you cards.
I delivered at Providence, but I know one of the Bella photographers that shots at Royal Oak. She did our daughter's 6 month photos at our house and I love them!! Check out her own work at

My sister just delivered at Royal Oak Beaumont and her photographs from Bella Baby were fantastic. I am a professional photographer and I have to say that I was skeptical about what a "hospital photographer" could deliver, but I was blown away by the quality and variety of the photographs and the professionalism of the photographer. The minimum price was $30 for prints (which is nothing) but my sister purchased the CD with all of the images (about 20) for $125 (also a bargain, as most professional photographers will not even sell their digital files). I don't understand how some of the people in these posts would pay $100 or more to have a photographer come to their house for a sitting fee and then have to pay much more for prints, when you get a free shoot in the hospital and get such amazing photographs for $150 or less. What a wonderful service Beaumont and Bella Baby are offering, I only wish I would have thought of the Bella Baby idea myself!!
