Sophie??

For awhile now, I have seen a lot of people talk about the Sophie.  What is so special about it?

Re: Sophie??

  • She has nice long legs so babies can get them to the back of their mouths when they start to get their molars.  Our boys LOVE chewing on her, but I wouldn't have bought her... she's $$$, but my mom bought her for my boys!

  • I thought Sophie looked stupid and couldn't imagine spending $20 on a teether.  My mom thought I totally lost it.  But he *loves* it.  It's so easy for him to grab and chew - and it's substantial enough that it's a good chew toy but it's not too hard either.  It really was the only thing that made him chill out when he was teething!

  • I laugh everythime I see a post about Sophie.  I swear she reminds me of a dog toy but Skylar just loves chewing on her :+)
  • Ditto what pp said.  She is worth the $20.
  • Definately worth it...Marino has been using his for 10 months now. Its very soft (most teethers are not) and for us, its been indestructable. Now, Marino uses her as a pretend toy and a teether. She has many hats, that Sophie.
  • after reading about her on here I broke down and bought one.  too bad my son never took to his Sophie.  he will chew on it sometimes, but he's not crazy in love with her like so many other babies.
