    Why would you put your life on hold for a one day event?

    I don't make plans for the future of my family based on events in other people's lives.  It  makes no sense to me to put TTC on hold because of a wedding.  TTC and if you wind up pg at the time of your friends wedding, deal with it then.

    I answered yes

    DD and I are both in a wedding next July. We are currently TTC'ing, and if I end up pregnant now I will be due shortly after the wedding.

    I know I'm in the minority, but I held off on TTC because I didn't want to be pregnant for my sister's wedding this past summer. And this is coming from someone who had T-TTC the first time!

    If you don't mind the possibility of missing her wedding, then I don't see any reason for you to wait. But if it's important for you to be there, I don't see the big deal in taking a month or two off from TTC.
