Should I get this print?

Hey ladies.  I'm not a mama yet but we're working on it.  I do however have the beginnings of a nursery in one of the rooms in our house.  I am very religious and I saw a print of what I thought was a very beautiful painting.  It was a Madonna and Child painting and she was breastfeeding.  To me it was like a summation of the mother and baby relationship.  I really want to put it up in the nursery but don't want to freak out anyone who might come in.  WWYD?  Do you think people would be freaked out?  TIA! Oh, and I'm not sure if this was it (it was a while ago I'll have to search my bookmarks), but it's at least very similar.

I think it is beautiful. I think if you put it in a nice frame that it would look really nice in the nursery, maybe above the glider.

i think it is a beautiful painting to put in a nursery. i do, however, get a little freaked out with nude art (the boob and nipple showing) for some reason...but i don't think everyone is as wierd as me...

I'm not usually freaked out by much, and I like the picture in general...but yes, something about putting it in a nursery freaks me out.

However, it's your house/nursery, so you should do whatever makes you happy!

It is quite possible that people may get freaked out, but it's your nursery in your house so if they think that then that is their problem. I honestly think it's beautiful, and I don't think anyone would say anything even if they were freaked out because that's just rude.

Thanks for your input!  That's why I'm not entirely sure it's the same one I was looking at before because I didn't remember it showing the nipple.  I know it showed the boob skin but I thought the baby was latched on.

it may depend on how big it is?  If it's really big, it could be a little out of place, but if it's smaller (even 11x14) it could be placed on a shelf or dresser along with other pictures.  Mixed in among other pics or items might actually be more touching.  If it's larger...Since its something that means a lot to you, you could place it on the wall that has the door, so it isn't what you see when you walk in, but instead what you see as you are sitting in the room with the new LO.
