I'm just now feeling comfortable with it. It takes some practice, but is pretty easy after a bit. If you have the demo video, watch that (a few times if you need to).
Here's what I do:
1) Put her in it like usual for a front hold.
2) unhook the chest strap and the waist belt.
3) put one foot up on something to make a 90 degree angle at my knee - this is a chair, couch, etc. if I'm inside, or the seat of the car with door open if I'm out and about.
4) this is the tricky part - take her off my chest while holding her under her arms, making sure the beco stays put. set her on my knee/thigh while I put my right arm through the strap (so we're right arm to right arm if that makes sense)
5) bring right arm around her so I'm cupping her bottom.
6) carefully move her onto my back while bent over, still supporting her bottom.
7) still bent over, put left arm through other strap, as if putting on a backpack.
8) adjust as needed, with both arms now through and LO on back securely

10) ready to go!
I do the superman toss - I find the hip scoot to be way too weird and uncomfy.
I feel really safe doing the toss because she's secured into the internal panel
