family pics were a bust

DH and I look crappy in every pic.  We both blinked a lot which we never do and the lighting was bad.  We had weird shadows on our faces.  Not to mention my hair looked like crap but that was my own fault (should have gone to the bathroom and checked it rather than believe DH's "it looks fine").  We got a few good ones of DD but nothing Christmas card worthy.  I am disappointed.  I was hoping to get the cards done today with this.  Maybe my expectations are too high.  I was really looking forward to this and feel a little let down.  We may try to take some pics of DD after her nap and just do cards on snapfish (those will be cheaper anyway).  thanks for the vent.

I always do my own, they always come out super cute. I am sure yours will be great:)

scully, gosh I remember when you were trying for #2, had no idea you got pregnant and had a baby already!!  Congrats!  Geez, times flies.

And Sarah, sorry your pics didn't turn out well...I also have learned NEVER to trust my DH or even the photographer to say I look "fine"...I have to brush my hair and freshen up right before we start, since usually I am completely frazzled from getting the boys ready!
