This is the Hilton resort in Maldives off of Africa.  It is one of my top 2 vacation's for the next 10 years.  My other is traveling Italy, which we are planning to do for our 5 yr. anniversary.

It's a running joke with my family to see all of the US roadside attractions.  Between my husband and myself, we've seen almost all of the battlefields, big balls of twine and oversized statues out there.  LOL.

i am all about muffler men and roadside attractions. there are quite a few M-Men & dutch boys in DE. one used to be around the corner from my house but they moved him to lower DE to a car dealership.?

Yes!!  That site is wonderful.  The interesting thing is, on the Disney Cruise ships they have an area that is designed like the old Route 66 and they have pics/maps of the roadside stuff.

Some of those things are really fascinating.  It's funny that those were so big back in the day.  I love the huge, strange statues like muffler men, too.
