Pink Eye?

What does the start of pink eye look like in toddlers. Carson has had a nasty nose/cough for 2 weeks now and I am at the end of my rope (calling the pedi today for antibiotics)

His eye was stuck together this morning and is major watery and seems red to me.  Is this pink eye?

    in pink eye its not just watery its also gunky sticky discharge.

    Sounds like it because it was crusted shut. Get some drops from the Dr. and make sure you wash all your towels and sheets.

    It definately sounds like it to me.

    My son had pink eye a few months ago he woke up one morning with a his eyes crusted shut. He went to the pedi after that and they prescribed us eye drops and told us to wash everything that contacts his face and try not to let him itch his eyes at all.
