Honestly, I thought DS would use his more, but he doesn't really. He will sit in it for a short time and then arch his back and try to launch himself out of it.

DS uses it every so often, so although it wasn't a total waste of money, we're not exactly getting our money's worth out of it. He sits in it from time to time but usually gets fussy after about 10 minutes and will not have anything to do with it. Occassionally he will try to tip himself over to get out of it. It's kind of funny.

this exactly, If he lasts even 5 minutes before arching I am shocked.
EDD with #4 01-20-14 Proud mama to a boys- 6/17/09 - a girl 2/23/11- and a boy 8/20/12
I LOVE our Bumbo. I have the little tray for it too. I even found one at a garage sale for my sis in law to use in a few months when she has her first. I think it is super handy. He sits in it when I am cutting veggies/making food. Super handy dandy!
My DD will sit in her's for about 15 mins just enough time to put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I like using her bumbo when I feed her baby food. She's not big enough for her highchair, she seems to sit better in the bumbo and they make trays that you can attach.
I can't speek for LO for sure, but he and I both seem to really love the Bumbo. We started solids a couple weeks ago and use this as the chair for him to eat in since he is still a little small for a high chair and it works GREAT!
We use it a lot and sometimes he likes it and sometimes he doesn't. I put him in it when I am washing dishes and he likes watching me, and we take it with us to restaurants and he just people watches. The longest he has stayed in it before complaining is about 35 minutes.
DD uses it in the kitchen when we are cooking. I got mine at a consignment sale with the tray for $15 and have definitely gotten enough use out of it. Her chubber thighs won't fit in it much longer though.
We use ours every so often but DD gets bored after a while and tries to wiggle herself out of it. Someone gave us our bumbo as a shower gift and if we hadn't gotten it then, I don't think we would have spent $40 + an extra $10 for the tray.

Tee hee hee. Bumpo.
We use DD's Bumbo a lot, actually. She loves it (now). She sits in it while I make her bottle, fold the laundry, etc.

I got one off of craigslist for 10 bucks and I'm soo glad I didnt get one new because my DD's thighs were too chubby for it.
