Well technically, since we are doing Dave Ramsey, we never have money left over.  Anything extra goes toward a bill, normally our student loans.

We have a decent amount left over right now.  When we bought this house we budgeted to be able to have 2 in daycare and 2 car payments and we only have 1 of each right now.

I wasn't sure how to answer this since our savings comes out first, automatically.  So I guess technically we have very little left over each month. 

We put about 25-30% into savings/investment each paycheck. We keep a flat amount as a base in our checking account at all times so after our bills and stuff are paid we sill have that base in our checking account.

good point avon bride. i guess i assumed by "leftover" you meant what goes into savings.

Honestly, I have no idea.  I know we aren't going into debt and do have $$ left over every month, but my income varies from month to month (and is about to drop to $0 for 3 months), and we have had some major expenses that we pulled from savings over the last few months (2 cars and a large home improvement project).  

I wish we knew, though.

LOL me to Mistress...I'm over here thinking, yeah we don't have a lot of money, but we've got a good life...and we're in the same boat as everyone else, but that's not really the case!  Everyone else is loaded LOL!
