Before becoming pregnant, my husband and I ate fish about 3-4 times a week. Is it safe to eat this much now? And what types of fish are safest. Yesterday, I ate canned salmon for lunch and today I'm eating sardines. But I want to be sure I'm not getting too much fish (if there is such a thing).

Depends on the fish

Dr told me low mercury fish are ok 2x/wk for 6 oz serving. Seafood is not recommended more than 2x/wk.

This. Eating some fish is good because of the Omega 3's. I say enjoy in moderation. I am loving tuna salad right now.
