What are you most looking forward to?

I know everyone keeps telling me to enjoy my DS while he is still this little because "they grow so fast." But I'm kind of looking forward to him getting alittle bigger and really showing us his full personality. For example, I can't wait to take him swimming next summer, or to the zoo (seeing animals up closer for the first time)....pretty much all his firsts.

 

What are you looking forward to with your LO?

Taking him to the beach next summer!  Having him feel the sand and the water.  We took him when he was 7 weeks and we put him in the ocean but its not the same!  And he goes to the pool pretty regularly and LOVES it!

I'm looking forward to taking DD swimming, actually.  I'm a big swimmer and just LOVE the water.  I also love taking kids into the water and playing with them, teaching them to kick and blow bubbles.  We have a lake house that we spend quite a bit of time at in the summer and I can't wait to bring her there and watch her enjoy it.

I'm looking forward to teaching her how to say words, like I say "dog" and she says it back, taking her to the zoo and childrens museums and all those little places. Pretty much the same as you!

Everything.  Christmas, birthdays, all the holidays really.  Just watching him grow and develop his own personality.  I can't wait!

As much as I want her to grow up, it makes me so sad! I just looked through all of the pictures we have of her. While there is a lot, its not that many, considering she is 5.5 months old and we can't go back.

I'm going to start taking pictures every. single. day.

I like it when they are able to interact with you rather than just you interacting with them. DD#1 is so mature now and even though it is way different, I enjoy it too.
