Okay, I know many people have mixed thoughts about old wives tales regarding gender tests...so this post is for those who have actually tried
the "string in a needle" gender test. I'm not looking for negative
responses about this old wives tale, I am just curious if anyone
actually tried this test and if the results were accurate for you.
For those of you are unsure of what this gender test is: A
piece of string is thread into a needle, and someone holds the string
(with the needle) as still as possible in front of your belly. If the
string begins to make a circular motion, it is a girl...If the string
makes a back and forth motion, it is a boy. My sister-in-law tried it
with her last baby, and it worked (it was a girl). I tried it last
night for sh*ts and giggles, and it made a back and forth motion (which
would mean a boy). Has anyone else tried this test for fun??
Re: "String in a Needle" Gender Test
MY friend did this and it said three kids one girl and two boys. She has had one girl and a boy already and they are going to try to have another baby.
Her husband did it and it said two boys (her girl is from a previous marriage)
Hey you figure it's a 50/50 chance!
