    I think Saturday works best, then I have a full day before the start of the work week.

    Sundays work best for me, I can leave H with his football and have some girl time =)

    After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

    haha- good point. I would be fine with either one, but Sunday would be a nice excuse to get out of the house and away from all the football!

    I know mine is on a Saturday. But I'm throwing my bestfriends, who is 2 months behind me and she wants hers on a Sunday. I guess it's all up to preference. I'm happy with mine on Saturday cuz then I get the next day to get organized. :)

    I prefer Saturday only because on sundays thats our family time to do any housework we need to catch up on and just be lazy at home.

    I prefer Sundays.  I usually have plans for Saturday more often than Sunday.

    Sunday always works well for me.  I normally have other plans on Saturdays, whereas Sundays are just a ho-hum day...KWIM.  I've gone to many showers (both on Saturdays and Sundays) and it seems that the biggest turn-outs are on Sundays.  I think a lot of people work on Saturdays whereas they don't on Sundays.

    As a guest probably Sunday because I usually have plans more often on Saturdays, but as a mom-to-be it was nice having it on a Saturday so I could return things and get things organized in LO's room the next day.

    As a guest either day is fine with me. When my shower comes around it will be on a Saturday due to family/friends attend church on Sundays and have family dinners.

    Ditto this.  Showers on Saturday are usually annoying for me.

    And even as the mom-to-be, I was very happy w/ a Sunday brunch shower for mine!

    Thanks for the opinions!

    I live across the country from my family and friends, so I am flying in for a long weekend and my mom is letting me choose the day....We originially thought Sunday, and I think I'll stick with it.
