NT Scan Results...worried

So we had out NT scan last week and found out we were having twins (yay!), however my Dr. called today and requested an appoinment for next week.... I am hoping/praying that it is just related to the news of two babies, and not that there is something wrong. (She said she would call if something on the ultrasound was wrong) any of you have any expierences like this?  Quick Vent; Why can't Dr's tell you things over the phone, or at least ask you to come in the same day, not a week later!!?!?!?

    Was your NT scan done outside of your doctor's office?  Maybe she just wants to see you to discuss the rest of your pregnancy now that you know you're having twins?  I totally agree with your vent!  It's so stressful to be left wondering.  I hope it all turns out well.

    Yes it was done outside the office with an ultrasound tech (no Dr.).... so T&P that she just wants to discuss my care now that there are 2.... this is going to be the longest week of my life.

    Any chance you could get in earlier?  When I was early in my pregnancy I was so stressed about how many I was carrying (I did an IUI with a borderline high # of follies and had super high progesterone) that I couldn't stand it.  I called the nurse and told her I was so stressed it was affecting my health and I had to come in earlier.  They squeezed me in so I could get some relief.  Maybe just call and ask and see if you can get any info.

    Congrats on the twins :)  And try not to worry, I know easier said than done.  I think if it was super important they would not have had you wait a week.  Take care :)

    I'm sure they just want to discuss any changes in care due to the fact that there are twins.  Unfortunately docs can't always talk that much about cases over the phone due to possibilities of miscommunication.  But since the appointment is a week away, I'm sure everything is fine.
