Some progress for this November mom!!

I lost my MP this morning!! I never thought such a thing could be so exciting. 

I've had 5 Braxton-Hicks type contractions in the last hour but with lower back cramping. They're pretty mild but I'm hoping it's the start of something! I was 2+ cm and 80 percent effaced when I had an internal on Friday, hooray! The doctor said he could feel the top of the baby's head, too.

I bought my birth ball yesterday after DH and I did a private childbirth class--I think sitting on that ball while we were watching TV last night got stuff moving! I know it could still be weeks but I'm hoping all these signs together are a good thing. We are feeling READY and excited!!

AND, for all you late-pregnancy ladies, I *highly* recommend the birth ball. Sitting on it feels great on my lower back, and you can also sort of drape your chest over it and it feels amazingly relaxing. I got mine for $25 in the exercise section at Target.

I had DD on 11/17 last year.  That is a great day.

I'm jealous too - haha.  how is the birthing ball different from a yoga ball? sorry if that's a silly question.

Mrs. Presley: I think they are the same thing? Mine says REEBOK on it in big letters, which cracks me up because I'm about the least athletic person ever. It's the 65 cm size, and they come smaller and larger too depending on how tall you are.
