Upstate NY Babies

So exhausted

We have had worse nights, but it's Monday morning, DD cried from about 7pm off and on until now (12:30am), with a couple of 5 minute naps in there (like 2-3x).  I am just so frustrated and exhausted.  It is emotionally draining to bounce this baby for 5+ hours.  I just want to be able to pee or get a drink of water without having to juggle the baby in one arm :(

Fortunately DH has wednesday off (Veteran's day) because I'm sure by Wednesday I will be falling apart.  I am hoping DD is not going to go to bed this late again!

Re: So exhausted

  • I hope you got some sleep.
  • Hopefully she gives you a break today!  And if you don't have one, try an exercise ball.  I have to rock/bounce Ryan a lot as well and bouncing while sitting or laying on the ball definitely helps save your body.  My back/arms still start to hurt, but not as quickly.  ;-)

If you don't have one, I got mine while pregnant at Target for $9.99.  They have more expensive ones there, but if you look, you'll see these gray cheaper ones that are just as good!
