Nurseries and Baby Gear

Can you post a pic of your wall letters...

and let me know where you purchased them?  My daughter just turned 3 months old and I keep procrastinating on ordering these letters and I just want to get the nursery finished already!  Would love to see your pictures and know where you got them.

Thanks!

  • We just got solid wood ones from Walmart and painted them a bright yellow!  They look awesome against his green walls!

  • Got my letters at Walmart.  I painted the sides and glued scrapbook paper to the front of the letters.

I did the same thing, and they were only $1.97 each!

  • I got the letters at Hobby Lobby and painted them myself.  I got the flower, butterfly, and dragonfly from Hobby Lobby too.  I painted them a bit and glued them on to the letters. image
  • I got the letters at Hobby Lobby and Modge Podged scrapbook to the front and painted the sides to match. I'm still trying to figure out how to hang them with ribbon though.. that has proved challenging. Any ideas?

I have those same letter and we bought a narrow shelf and will just stand them up on it...

  • I just ordered them this week.  Normally I don't like to buy things before the baby is born but for some reason I couldn't help but get them!  Oh well if her name changes I can send them back...

I was going to get them from PB but found these and liked them better.

I would use a staple gun or a hot glue gun to attach the ribbon to the back side.
  • A great site that lets you personalize your wall lettering and preveiw it before you buy is The Simple Stencil (https://thesimplestencil.com) They have lots of colors and styles to preview your own quote, name, etc. in. They also have great prices compared to other sites I have researched and you even get a free practice word (which I picked my daughter's name). Good luck!
  • Where in walmart did you find your letters?

I walked down the craft aisle and didn't see any.
