Registry stalking

DH's cousin's shower is tomorrow and I have been stalking her registry along with mine.  I feel really sorry for her because she has like 10 things purchased off her Target registry and like 4 off her Walmart one. 

What do you think?  Are a lot of people not buying off the registry?  Are they going to buy off the registry, but not buying anything until tonight or tomorrow morning?

I've been stalking my registry too and like you I have a friend whose shower is the same day as mine and I've been stalking hers as well.  Things have definately been moving off my registry.  Can't say the same for hers though.  I'm really surprised that so many items have been bought off my registry as my family usually gives cash ... but heck I'm not complaining. I love it. As for our friends shower I'm hoping that people are just waiting for  the weekend to go buy stuff ... it's always nice to get things that you picked out for yourself.  That's the whole point of doing a registry.

I think a lot of people buy last minute AND I think a lot of people don't buy off the registries.

my shower is tomorrow and i only have 2 things bought off my registry.

My shower is tomorrow too....I have like 5 things bought from mine. My husband and I figure we are going out next weekend to get everything else.  You can hope that people get what you need...but I think a lot of them LOVE to shop for BABY Clothes!

I had my shower about a week ago.  I'd say only a 1/3 of the people actually bought off the registry. We got a lot of handmade items, but what really blew my mind is that people bought us stuff from BRU.  We were registered at BRU.  So they actually went there, but then chose to not buy things on the registry.  I think people just like to buy whatever they think is cute.

I registered at walmart also and the registry ended up not working. We got a ton of stuff off of the registry but it was never taken off when it was purchased. We got duplicates of a few things ( not that I'm complaining ) so maybe the reason why things aren't looking like they're bought is because the registry isn't working correctly.
