We have no heat :(

I swear, when it rains it pours.  Our furnace conked out on us this morning and now I am waiting for someone to come fix it.  Both of the girls are sick and DH has been working 70+ hours these last few weeks for a project that rolls out in Dec.  He also just found out he has to work all of thanksgiving weekend, including thanksgiving day.  Our money situation was tight to begin with and now I've got to pay someone to fix our heat.  Oh yeah, and DH is sallaried so he doesn't get anything extra for all the extra work.

Life sucks right now.

I'm sorry. I hope your heat is fixed quickly and things start to turn around for you and your family.

I'm so sorry!

my heat went out 2 weeks ago as well. Luckily, I google'd what was happening and was able to save $250 + on a service call. DH just tried the suggestion online and changed a part for $32!

I'm sorry.  I hope you get your situation fixed quickly.

Our air-conditioning went out this weekend and it's been in the upper 80s here so we were super hot for several days.  And, ds was sick with a fever and that didn't help the situation at all.

That is a major bummer about your furnace (the other stuff too...but I totally feel you on the furnace thing!!).   Hope it gets fixed soon and its not too much $$$.
