Sex at 39 weeks:Part Two

Houston, we have lift-off!

FI woke up "in the mood" this morning, so he woke me up for some sex. And let me tell you...I needed it and so did he! I'm so happy we finally had successful sex! I was kind of of hoping it might jump start labor, but so far no signs. I'm sure I will still be here on Monday, and probably the day after. F*ck.

    Woo-hoo!! Cheers to sex when we feel huge!!! DH and I did the deed a couple nights ago and were geared up to go again last night, but then fell asleep (pathetic) I'm still feeling revved up though so maybe we'll get a little nooky in tonight!!

    How do you do it? I can't even think about having sex right now. That requires energy that I just do not have and you are so much further along than me! Good for you!! Pass some of the energy my way!

    Well if there is such a thing as energy dust, here is lots of it lol! Honestly, I am too tired to do it most of the time, but just knowing that it could potentially put me into labor is enough motivation for me! Also, I know that if I do go into labor it's going to be 6 weeks before we can do it again.

    Ditto. My DH has a renewed love for me recently since I am 'putting out'.. lol

    Gee, thanks haha! I suppose it does make me feel better when I see other 39+ weekers here with me. It's just so hard seeing these girls with their babies and they were due after me!

    My sole motivation is the thought of it helping me go in to labor. Ever since I hit 37 weeks and acknowledged that giving it up could help my sex drive has sky rocketed...well compared to what it's been lately at least. I'm totally using DH though, I mean, it is nice to have the bonding with him, but I really just want him for his sperm Wink

    DH cut me off at around 31 weeks.  He was weirded out by the belly.  I have kept at him, however.  After a 5 week hiatus, I am also happy to report I was able to seduce the bugger the other night.  YAY!  Horray for late-pregnancy sex.

    And after a very fun experience, I think he might be willing to keep trying....no more weirdness.
