I've been using a Moby with DD since she was born. She is now getting close to five months. I really like the Moby, but have really only been doing one hold (the hug hold) for a while now. I think she's ready for a change and I may try the lotus hold (facing out), but I'm also thinking about another carrier. Ergo's look soooo nice and easy to put on. If you've used both of these, what would you do? Is there something else you would recommend? I don't want to spend a ton of money and am happy to stick with a Moby if it will meet my needs, but I'm open to another carrier if it will be helpful to us. Thanks!
Re: Another Wrap/Carrier Question
Since you DD is almost 5 months, I imagine you'd find another carrier much more comfortable - the moby is great for newborns but the stretch makes it less ideal for older babies.
If you like wraps, I've got lots of info in my siggy on woven wraps - wovens are supportive enough for toddlers and will allow you to do back carries as well.
Other options to consider would be a mei tai (like the babyhawk) or a buckle carrier like the beco or ergo - I know less about those so hopefully someone else can chime in with their opinion.

Ditto a woven if you like the Moby but just need some more support. I don't have one yet but will get one eventually.
We have a Babyhawk Mei Tai & love it. There are several different brands to choose from too. DH uses it with the plain side facing out so it's not "girly".
We ordered ours from slingsilove.com. She sells wovens & ring slings too. She ships really fast & is super helpful.
