Flame Free Friday Confessions

My house needs to be cleaned and all I can think about is making banana bread or pumpkin bread and eating the whole thing while I sit on the couch and watch reality tv.

Re: Flame Free Friday Confessions

  • I'm totally jealous ...
  • Loading the player...
  • I am eating a brownie for breakfast. Chocolate and coffee, is there anything better??

  • This  is really bad... and I don't REALLY mean it, but sometimes I just think it...

Sometimes I wish I could be on bedrest because I'm so tired ALL THE TIME.  I feel like a wuss for just needing to rest for me, even though all my pregnancy stuff is fine.

On the other hand, I'm happy to have a healthy, complication-free, relatively easy pregnancy.  I'm just tired.

    Don't hate me.  Embarrassed

Me three!  I was home sick last week with a bad cold and I got to sit around and do nothing but watch tv and sleep.  It was heaven.  I could totally get used to that!

  • I WANT THIS BABY OUT. NOW.

    sigh.

  • I wish my kids would sleep until noon instead of 7:30. I also wish they could make their own food and get their own drinks. I guess I wish they were 16, just until after I have the baby.

Yes, this would be awesome!  DD#1 has been sick all week, and she's been getting me up in the middle of the night just to keep her company.  All I want to do is roll over and ignore her! (But, of course I don't, but sometimes I wish DH would just do it!)

  • I want a big bologna sandwich, unheated.  I want a bottle of wine, a caraff of coffee (maximum caffeine), a big roll of goat cheese (to go with my bottle of wine of course), and a big pint of Miller Lite on Sunday while we watch football.

Although the rest of the world is po'd that there are Christmas commercials and music on and decorations, I am completely stoked because it means LO is coming (somewhat) soon (and shhh, but I've been listening to Christmas music on my iPod since JULY!).

I'm proud of my DH's recent accomplishments at work (and with me not working, we really need him to be doing well there), but some days, now that I am home, I wish he would say "the heck with it" and show up home after lunch to spend the afternoon with me.

I spent the entire (I mean the ENTIRE) day yesterday reading the books TrueBlood is based on instead of cleaning, running errands, or doing one of the million other things I have to get done.

Lastly--I've been walking the dog later in the afternoon in an effort to hold her off until DH gets home from work so HE can walk her when he gets home (a girl can only pick up so much poop in one day...seriously).

Sorry for all of the confessions! Its my first so there was a lot to unload.  Bless me bumpies, for I have sinned...

  • DH and I were living in a house but the owner went crazy beeyotch on us--because we moved a piece of furniture to make room for the baby's crib--which she knew about the entire time. Anyway, she told us she was flying in to get some things at the house and could we please be out by Friday---this was Tuesday night (long story, more details---this is short version). So we made a HUGE move in like 3 days--not to mention we both are teachers and he is a coach so we were moving well into the night on some days and taking a child birthing class. I was PISSED...so I went around and took all of the toliet paper out of the house...not leaving her one roll. Probably not the meanest thing to do, but it made me smile.

  • My house needs to be cleaned too.  But I know that next Thursday I've got someone coming to clean. (For the first time ever mind you, my baby shower is next Sat and I didn't want to have to clean for days beforehand - it's a gift to myself.  LOL.)  I have two kids already and I am exhausted so I am holding off on major cleaning because I know it'll get taken care of next week.  (I'm still doing dishes and laundry though.)

  • Being pregnant with two toddlers is for the birds. I love my boys, but am finding it hard to like them much lately.
  • This morning I woke up and seen that some chic that my husband works with at his job left him a comment on his facebook.  All it says is chugga chugga choo choo. I'm sure its probably nothing but a stupid work joke but for some reason it pisses me off and I want to tell him to get rid of it, but I am a grown woman and I don't want to sound like a whiny jealous b!tch.
  • Part of me wants to get this baby out so my stretch marks don't get worse (if that's even possible, they're freakin hideous and all over my lower belly and thighsAngry)

I think I have more FFFC's, but I'm not awake yet, so I'll have to see if they come to me in a bit

Me 4!!!! I did not get a wink of sleep last night, so my head hurts now and I'm exhausted! I just want to go home and sleep.

  • My Mil was talking about taking the entire family to the mountains sometime this month. I am included even though I'm about to have my baby, and its a five hour drive from home. Indifferent

I am hoping I go into labor while they are gone.

  • Friday is donut day at my work and I'm thinking about having 2 this morning.  I'm not even at work and all's I can think about is donuts!
  • I'm not technically completely ready for baby to come and it would be better if he waited to show until after the 18th, but I don't care, I want him here now!!!!

By technically I mean I only have have of the letters for his name purchased and ready to be hung (planning on buying the other 1/2 this weekend), then, I have to train a temp for my job, but she doesn't come in until the 11th and I have a Lia Sophia jewelry party on the 10th and really it would be better if LO waited until DH was done with his internship on the 18th, but I seriously do not care one bit about any of this. I am soooo done being pregnant and I'm soooo tired of working 3 jobs right now!

(See, I told ya I had more built up in there somewhere!)

Oh, and can we add to this list that we haven't decided on a pediatrician or a day care for sure yet...I'm too damn tired to call these places! I just want to go home and sleep Crying

  • I had a really good one, but I forgot it.  Sigh.

ETA:  Oh yeah!  Usually I post updates from mw appointments on facebook, but I didn't this time because they said my bp was a bit high and I don't want to hear MIL's opinion on it/cure for it.  Gotta love ILs on facebook!

And I really think I had a better one... we'll see.

  • I would LOVE to be put on bedrest.  I'm happy that other than a few pains and twinges here and there I've had a decent pregnancy, but I'm just soo exhausted and unmovtivated.

Also, I am hoping that SIL doesn't have her baby before me.  I want to be able to have the first granddaughter.  I don't want her to have all the glory again.  I know I sound like a whinning three year old, but I would be completely heartbroken if she went into labor ahead of me.  Especially because she's not due til Dec. 26th and I'm due Dec 5th.  BUT she's diabetic and had lots of complications with her first baby.  I'm such a bad person for thinking like this but I really needed to get it out.  She started having contractions last night and I thought I was going to lose it. Embarrassed

  • LONG!!!!

I'm SOOO irritated at DH's ex girlfriend who has written him THREE times since we've been married---all either sexual/flirtatious/reminiscing.  He ignored her once, told her to stop contacting him the second time, and I finally wrote to leave my husband alone this third time!  She wrote back that somehow I'm out of line/a bad Christian (huh??) for not wanting my husband to be friends with her still, as if they had some deep friendship it would be a shame to let go of.  They dated for a few months, and were only acquaintances before that---nothing worth putting energy into keeping up, and especially not worth putting up with her inappropriateness.

Is it just me, or is texting your married ex to tell him you had a dream about him (when you haven't talked in 2 years, except for him to tell you to stop writing him) NOT just trying to "keep in touch"?!?!

(I admit I'm overly pissed about this because it is the 3rd time she's done it, and the THIRD ex girlfriend to text/message him something that crosses the line.  Thank God for my DH---completely honest with me, completely irritated by them, and has no problem saying, "I'm married and this isn't cool. Stop."  BUT every one of them has made a huge deal about how it's really "sad" that he doesn't want to maintain their "friendships" now that he's married.  Um, none of them are people he considers friends, and all of them want to talk about how they used to love him and what they once shared every time they contact him. ARGH!)

  • DH is home today and I sent him out for a quiznos sub a rootbeer and two chocolate glazed donuts from dunkin donuts and I DONT CARE!!!!! I've been so lazy all week, actually for the last two weeks. DH has been the best and taking care of the whole family. I've been in bed and enjoying these last couple of days before the baby decides to come. I owe him one because he has been such a good help. Maybe I will cook tonight because I have not cooked all week because I've been so tired and feeling like crap. Well my at home vacation is over soon and I need to get back on track. The house definitely needs a momma touch and organization again. I JUST DONT FEEL LIKE IT!!!!?

Yes I am being extremely lazy.... and I DONT CARE!?

  • I still have so much to do before this baby arrives, and I hit full-term/elder status yesterday. And what did I do when I got home yesterday? Watch TV. We have not installed the car seat/gotten it inspected. The crib doesn't have a mattress yet. I haven't washed any of her clothes or bedding yet. My hospital bag is not packed. I haven't finished shopping for her, and there are some things we definitely need before she gets here. I just can't get up the motivation to do these things. I feel like I'm not ready for her to be here yet, even though I am really excited about having her, so maybe if I don't do these things, I won't go into labor yet. I feel like this whole pregnancy went so fast and I am just not mentally ready to be taking care of an outside baby.

Me too!! The girls at work stress me out SO bad over nothing... But whenever I go to the doctor, my blood pressure is fine cuz I'm out of work! I would love to be on bedrest too (even though they say you get super bored--I wouldn't, I would just bump all day and play games! lol)... secretly it's been my wish this whole pregnancy (of course I would never wish anything to be seriously wrong with LO--but my mom was on bedrest for the last 3 months of her pregnancy with my brother so I was sorta hoping for the same!).
  • Thank you for reminding me...I've been meaning to make some banana nut muffins that I have!
