Greys Anatomy- Not really a spoiler- Q about Meredith

Is she pregnant in this episode or is this supposed to be post-baby? When they showed her belly on the bed she looked skinny.

ETA: I mean is Ellen Pompeo, IRL, hiding it from the show.

    I don't watch Greys, but when Bre on Desperate Housewive was pregnant with twins they did a really good job hiding it.

    There was always something in front of her (people, props, counter, ect.). I think they even used a body double for one scene. She is stick thin, so I'm not surprised she didn't get all puffy looking.

    I know! You'd think at least her face would be puffy. Mine practically matched my belly and I only had one! Haha

    I thought her face looked puffy, I even told SO that when we were watching it. I am sure she was still pg or else they would have had her moving around more.

    Yep, she (Ellen Pompeo) was pregnant, which is why they did the surgery/bed rest thing. I know she had her baby a few months ago (I think) so, she must have taped when she was carrying a big ol' bump, and then maybe again after she gave birth...not sure. But, I do know that that's why they taped the show this way. HTH!
