I keep seeing posts about "big kid" rooms... they're a year old. Has his/her style really changed so much? Is it only the moms with babies on the way? In which case, I wonder why are you switching rooms?
Or is this just a compulsive need to redecorate?
Just curious, this isn't an attack or anything!
Re: How many times are you going to redecorate kid's room?
Well for us, DD is in the nursery. When I get pregnant with #2, she will move out of the nursery and into the other bedroom.
In that case, I will have to decorate it because right now we haven't touched it since we moved in. It needs wallpaper removed and some paint.

I changed DDs room from girly to neutral when I was preg with DS since they shared a room for the first 10mos. Now that I've moved DS into his own room, I'm slowly redoing her room. She wants a princess theme, but I'm not repainting it at this point, it's a light green with pink bedding.
DSs room is still white since he shares a room in the office. I plan on just painting it a solid light blue and leaving it at that.

Oh, ok, that I can understand. I just assumed that kids stayed in the same room. We don't have a special nursery room.
We moved into a new house a few months ago, so we're getting ready to decorate Zachary's big boy room. He never really had a nursery though because we lived in a 1-br condo until he was 6 months, and then in a rental for a few months. This is the first time we're decorating a room for him.
ditto. i would get run off the board if i posted a pic of my "nursery."
LOL. Me too BW. I't just furniture thrown in there in a random way and then a diaper pail in a corner. Voila!
I never even bothered to hang his name again when we moved.
