I alway try to at least respond if someone made the effort to post and no one else has. Even if i know nothing about the topic. But yea, annoying when it is mine.

Having said that, I don''t usually reply unless I have something to say on the subject.  I do tend to respond to the "new here" post both here and on MC/PL because I feel those people are probably vulnerable enough without being ignored (more so on MC/PL than here...here people are moving on and getting back in the game so to speak.)

Sometimes I don't care if anyone responds to my post because I am just venting but it does make me feel special when somebody does.

I'm guilty of doing all the viewing and no responding!  It takes me too long to respond, and you guys are waaay funnier than I am!  I just like reading what y'all have to say!  I suppose I should get better!  Consider this a new leaf!
