How effaced were you at 35 or 36 weeks?

I'm going to be induced at 37 weeks due to IUGR and I was jsut told that I'm 50% effaced. Is this normal, early, behind of where I should be? I forgot to ask the doctor.

 How effaced were you at your 35 or 36 week appointment?

I'm hoping this means somehow that the induction will be quick!

I had no progress.

I was 1 cm dilated but 0% effaced my cervix was still long.

2cm, 75% effaced but I've already had one child too. She was actually born at 36wks.

Just got back from my doctor, no progress.

How effaced you are doesn't mean anything at all, so you're not ahead of or behind where you should be.

At 35 wks I was 50%. At 36 wks (today), I am at 60%.

I was 2 cm and 80% effaced.  That being said today I'm at 3 cm and still 80%, I don't think it really means much inductions are different for everyone.

I'm hoping 100% by Monday. Lots of walking this weekend.

Everybody's different... don't think there's really a standard.  I was at 0... closed up tight.

Haven't been checked that early with either of my PGs.

Thanks everyone! just hoping for a quick induction :-) The baby is really tiny (hense the induction) so i'm hoping he doesn't have to go through a long labor
