Where do you sleep best? (location not position)

I keep finding myself knocked out on our couch most nights around 9 or so, usually while bumping and/or playing games on pogo.com.  (Last night I was down for the count by 8:30 and kept waking myself up snoring and drooling.  LOL!  DH said I was REALLY snoring loud. ) However, as soon as I go up to bed, I am wide awake and talkative.  Then, if I doze off I get acid reflux that wakes me up gagging.   I wish I could stay on the couch most nights, but the bathroom is upstairs in our room and I would rather not go up and down the stairs to pee all night.  :-(

Where does everyone get there best sleep?

  • Me too, it seems like once 8:30 hits I'm completely out on the couch.  But then once I go upstairs to bed I have such a hard time falling and staying asleep.

  • In bed, without DH. Embarrassed He's been fighting a bad cold and every time I woke up to pee, I couldn't fall back asleep because of the snoring. He's been sleeping in the guest room and I am feel so much better rested! I do miss him though.

  • In my bed. I would get to lonely out on the couch. Plus my bed is really comfortable and the bathroom is a few feet away!
  • I love my bed and am still sleeping really good there.  I hope it continues the rest of my pregnancy!

  • I've also been enjoying sleeping on the couch... I think a big part of it is because I can curl up in the corner with my back to the back of the couch which is a lot better support than pillows on the bed which tend to slide off the bed halfway through the night anyways.

  • I usually pass out on the couch too.  Funny how it's about the same time too...about 9-ish.  I sleep good in my bed, but once I've passed out on the couch it's too much to get up, get changed, take out my contacts.  I've been trying to go ahead and get myself ready for bed before I sit down to watch tv so that if I fall asleep I can just stay there and I also record my shows, I always miss half of them.  LOL.

  • In my bed on my left side.  Except I sprained my ankle last week, left of course, so it's hard to stay laying on that side b.c it's sore!!  Maybe that's why I'm so darn tired!!!
  • I pass out while I'm on the couch.  It seems like when I am in bed and know I should be sleeping, I start thinking about all these different random things and have a harder time falling asleep.  I had a really bad period of about a month of insomnia, which made me so miserable.  Thankfully, the past couple of weeks, I have been sleeping a lot better in bed.  It also helps not working.  If I don't sleep well at night, I just take a nap or two during the day.  : )
